It’s important to follow the measurement guide on the Shield Selector and measure carefully. Shield measurement for U-RAC and M-RAC is from the end of the rail to the end of the suppressor, (or up to the rear edge of any vents or exposed baffle/comps). Shield lengths for PRSS, is the suppressor length plus 1”

Suppressor Shields, and XL Suppressor Shields are based on the suppressor diameter, standard sizes (non-XL) will fit up to 1.700”, and no larger, not 1.71” or 1.73”. XL Suppressor Shields will fit suppressors up to 1.900”
Incorrect measurements can lead to restocking fees and additional shipping charges if a Suppressor Shield length needs to be adjusted after shipping. If you’re not sure please reach out to our Customer Service Team for clarification with a picture of your set-up.  Customerservice@modtac.us

Before finalizing your order, carefully read the measurement guide on the product page and double-check the length you need. Ordering the wrong length may result in additional shipping and/or restocking fees.

Measuring for the Shield Assembly (SA & SA-XL):
Select the drop-down length as if ordering the full product. The actual Shield Assembly length is 0.75” shorter than the selected length.

For example, choosing a 6” Shield Assembly results in a 5.25” tube length. When combined with the coupler assembly, the total length will be 6.0”.

Occasionally, our inventory may be lower than what’s reflected on the site. We will ship your order as soon as all components are available, and tracking will be provided once your label is created. Orders are typically picked up within 1 business day. If your tracking number shows no movement, please wait 24 hours and check again. Most orders will be delivered within 3-5 days of leaving our facility.

If an item is marked “backordered” on the product page, or if you’ve placed a phone order for a backordered item, please note backordered items have no guaranteed shipping timeline
